Organization Structure and Culture

MAWS is a well organized service that really tries to keep the community as safe as possible when it comes to peoples households and relationships.There are many people in this organization that have a part in this. There are 8 Board Directors that are all females, Executive Director who is Donna Garske, Associate Director who is KAte Kain and the rest would be Finance and Operations, Associate Directors, Development and Public Relations Departments and the last one is TC-TAT Program.These are all the types of jobs that are given at the Marin Abused Women's Services. In just the MAWS organization there are 30 employees all together. This organization is a 5DIC3 non profit organization that tries to do its best to make women and children feel as safe as they can in their household.

In the MAWS office there are also other organizations that work in the same office, for example the YMCA and Habitat Media. MAWS is the organization that owns this building but on the second floor it is shared by 4 other organizations that also do their best to make Marin a better place. The building is a currently new building and is not completely finished but it’s structured in a very unique way so it can be a private and confidential place for families to feel comfortable at.
